I have had numbness at night on the front part of my leg from right above my knee to my hip for about a year and a half. It seems as though it's getting worse. Always in the same spot. It seems it's only on the big muscle part. It only does this when I'm lying on my back or standing up for long periods of time. It also sometimes becomes painful like needles sticking into me. The numbness quickly goes away when I move around. No discoloration or paralysis. What could be causing this?
