sensitive scalp tingling

I have a tingling pain on top of my head for about a week-- I can trace nerve from my ear, to my jaw to top of my head-- very sensitive-- hurts to comb hair-- kind of a tickle pain. it feels good to scratch but feels like a nerve has been firing for a week straight. Any idea?
