My husband had an abrupt withdrawal from Klonopin due to some issues with the doctors office not getting the message to refill his prescription. For two days he has been having major withdrawal symptoms. His full body shakes, his breathing is very heavy, and just this evening he seems to be having hallucinations of some kind. We finally got his prescription filled last night, and so he is taking it regularly again, but the withdrawal just seems to be getting worse. Should I take him to the emergency room...can they do anything to help? Or should we just wait it out and he will get back to normal very soon?
