Question

Sent to Health Experts September 30, 2006 6:00 p.m.

My husband has 2 small warts on his penis, and they have been there for at least 2 to 3 years. I have been checked by a GYN regularly and have not been told that I have any warts (internally or externally) nor do I have any visible warts in my genital area.
My question is:
1.   IS IT POSSIBLE THAT HIS WARTS ARE NOT SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED, AND
WOULDN'T I HAVE GOTTEN THEM TOO SINCE WE ARE VERY SEXUALLY
ACTIVE (over all these years since he has had them)?
2.   CAN THE WARTS ON HIS PENIS BE FROM SOME OTHER ORIGIN, OTHER
THAN SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED (he does have a history of warts appearing on
other parts of his body and having to have those removed)?
3.   SINCE I DO NOT HAVE ANY GENITAL WARTS, AND HE HAS HAD HIS WARTS
FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW, ISN'T IT TRUE THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE GIVEN
      THEM TO HIM?
(COULD I HAVE GIVEN HIM WARTS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY
MYSELF AND MY GYN HAS NEVER SEEN ANY INTERNALLY EITHER?)
