How hard is to get rid of a cocaine addiction. I know of someone who is 26 and I believe uses 1 gram a week. He is still in the denial stage.   What can I do to help him!

You cannot change him. He will have to want to quit. I suggest you go to an alanon or narcanon meeting. They will help you deal with his addiction, and give you pointers on how to help.
