I had laprascopic assited vaginal hysterectomy two weeks ...

I had laprascopic assited vaginal hysterectomy two weeks ago and am still experiencing some slight brown/red drainage.Is this normal? I can't get a hold of my dr.

If the discharge is not clearly blood than you need not worry.This is almost anormal phenomenon. So you need not to be panicky at all.

THere is a small amount of blood. The rest is brown like old blood. How long will this last?

Hello,

In my opinion this is not fresh blood & this can continue from 3-6 wks after surgery.
