I have recently had a bad experience with boils. I never had them before or knew they existed, until i ended up in the hospital with a very serious staph infection. After i.v. antibiotics and oral antibiotics, i recovered. Now I am starting to feel, what seems to be another boil forming on the back of my thigh. Its very painful. I am very scarred that I will get another infection. It's only been 2 weeks since my last dose of antibiotics. should I be worried?

To a degree yes. It is always better to be on the safe side then not. These are indeed caused by staph and other types of bacteria. Keep it clean. Wash with warm soapy water and apply warm compress's to it to help with the pain and to also heal it. Should it continue to get worse do not hesitate to contact your doctor. Your immune system is down a little due to your coming off the recent antibiotics. So keep a close eye on it. I am also including a good link for you to read on boils although it would appear that your very familar with them now. Let me know if you need further assistance on this.
