My 3 year old son has been potty trained since he was 1 ...

My 3 year old son has been potty trained since he was 1 1/2...but lately he has been having thick bowel movements in his pants. He tells me he doesn't know he is doing it. It looks like sand paper.What should I do?

Has he been eating anything different lately. Has he been acting normal other than the bowel incontinence? Has there been any changes in the house such as a new baby, divorce, or separation?
