what causes knots behind the shouler blades or knots in the joints

it's knot's in the musels, my husband has these knot's in his musel's and we want to know what they are and what causes thems

By "knots" you might mean muscle spasm. Where are these muscle spasms, exactly, besides between his shoulder blades? Is he having any other symptoms, or health problems? Give me as much information as you can.

it's not muscle spasm, it's almost like little hard round thing that is in his muscle and also behind his shoulder blade, and they kept getting bigger and they hurt every time i go to message his shoulder's. also he has muscle spasm in his leg's, what can he take for those?
