Question

Stomach ache and defecating

Sent to Health Experts October 08, 2006 2:34 p.m.

I'm 26, 145lbs, non smoker non drinker. Although I do enjoy my soda (sometimes I drink up to 3 cans a day, although these days I try to limit it to two and intake alot of water as well). I also don't eat too much sweets or chips.

For a while now (perhaps since a year or two ago), I noticed I get stomach aches more often. When I mean stomach aches, i mean my stomach has some kind of pain, and after a while, I then have to use the bathroom to poop it out and feel relieved. the poop itself is kinda mushy, not liquid but not your regular sausage like form either. Sometimes it requires me to go two or even three more times after the first sitting.
last year I noticed that when riding in vehicles, I felt like I had to use the bathroom when often i really didn't. It's gotten better these days, especially when I'm driving.. but I don't like how sometimes this feeling suddenly comes and I have to rush to a bathroom.
do you think it is because of my diet? i don't each too much fiber and im trying to rectify that by eating Fiber One

Optional Information:
