Is there a swelling and pain reducer that works REALLY well.

I fell and landed on something and now my thigh, right above my knee is REALLY swollen, and now it hurts too. It didn't hurt after I fell, nothing's broken or anything. but now it's the size of an orange. So my question is - Is there a swelling and pain reducer that works REALLY well.

I have a horse show on Sunday that I don't want to cancel.
