Question

i had a concrete rock thrown at my leg a month

i had a concrete rock thrown at my leg a month ago, the scar is barely almost healed, i am experiencing a burning sensation sometimes in the hurt area when i am doing nothing, and it is hard and still sore around the cut. It was very deep will these things go away?

Hi Angie--sorry to hear!

By the description of the injury, as well as your symptoms, my strong suspicion is that you injured (bruised or severed) a Nerve in that area; which could be serious. My recommendation is that you go see an MD (a Neurologist would be ideal) to have Nerve Testing done--you certainly don't want this to evolve into a permanent nerve injury.

i know it is bruised still, would i be able to walk on it with nerve damage?

YES angie--in most cases you can still walk on it (since it's a minor nerve; not one of the major nerves); but that DOES explain the burning; and also why it hurts even when you're not doing anything.
