My grandson was diagnosed with atrial flutter at birth...he was born at 36 weeks...they are treating him with digoxin. He has been in the hospital a week now, has a few days to go before the cardiologist will make the decision to release him. I have search the web for info on this and haven't found any sites that answer my questions. Is it treatable/curable with medication? Can it cause sids? Does stress cause the episodes or can he have them when calmly sleeping? Will breast feeding cause him to have episodes? I am in Arizona, my Daughter is in Florida...I haven't been able to talk to the Drs. I am getting my info from her....and she is very upset, I am not sure she is taking it all in. Help with these questions would be appreciated. Thanks Pamela Testerman
