I just finished walking 25-miles yesterday. A few blisters, but I survived. I regularly walk 2-4 miles 2-5 times a week. For some reason I woke up yesterday and now my ankles are swollen, my left more than my right. What has caused this and what can I do to decrease the swelling and get my ankles back to normal? I've elevated them, taken Ibuprofen, walk short distances every now and then, try not to stand in one place too long, and I'm running out of ideas. Any other suggestions?
