i have missed one pill three days before the end of my

i have missed one pill three days before the end of my 21 day pack, i had not had sex for ten days so i just carried on till the end of the pack and had 7 days off - during which time i also didn't have sex - i am now at the beginning on my next pack should i use extra contraception this cycle or am i not at risk of pregnancy?

What you should have done was gone straight on to the next pack and not had a withdrawal bleed this month. However, as you have not had intercourse it is less important. Just to be on the safe side, I would recommend extra precautions for the first two weeks of the cycle, that will give time for levels to get even again.
