I had a hysterectomy 8 months ago for a prolapsed uterus. My colon is still in.
My bladder has dropped a little but not enough to require any intervention.
Occassionaly I have bright red after wiping the vaginal area. My gynecologist
says there is nothing he can see wrong. I do get stomach pain centered
above my navel I take nexium for ulcerated esophagus. Do you have any
idea what may cause the occassional light bleeding from vaginal area?

Hi, Some of the conditions can cause bleeding after a hysterectomy are: Inflammation, infection, abnormal growths, and injury. I suggest to you to get a second opinion from another Gynecologist.
