Dear Doctor,
>
> I am a 40 years old man with the sexual and physical development of a very
young boy except for having lost some hair. I've always been the smallest
kid in my class but for the last twenty years, I have probably showed two
years worth of changes and development. I didn't experience changes during
my puberty years anywhere close to what I observed other young guys go
through .I get comments like " You look exactly the same way you did", from
people I have not seen in 25 years. It's gotten to a point where I am not
being taken seriously when trying to act my age.
> Physically, I have short stature, skinny build with no broadening of the
shoulders and other bones, the face of a 14 year old and I lack most of the
visible changes experienced during puberty including the adam's apple which
you have to search for to find . I didn't even experience all the behavioral
changes that come with adolescence and puberty.
> Sexually, I've never been as sexually driven as most of my friends. I saw
very little development in my sexual drive as well as my penis and
testicles. My penis has not changed in length or girth for ever and my
testicles have not enlarged as they do with others as they get older. I have
a sexual organ that is weak and not developed as it should.
> So, this is not about being taller or having a large penis. Instead, it's
about looking my age, having all the developments of a 40 year old and being
taken seriously among my peers. It's also about being mature enough and
acting like a 40 year old . But I also want you to know I'm mentally and
intellectually very capable . It's only the physical part that I have a
problem with. Please help me, I don't want to be sixty and still look 17.

Reply to Cheryl K.'s Post: I'm trying to get a second opinion from an experienced doctor in this field. I appreciate the help but so far I only heard from a nurse and a 2005 med graduate.
