i had pain and a cyst like appearance on top of foot that slowly appeared within a few days 2 weeks ago, right below ankle on top of foot slightly to the right. after a week pain went away, but swelling still remains, had mri today and dr. said it looks like there is swelling there, no sign of cyst. He said must of been injured in that area and sometimes it takes up to 6 months for swelling to go away. Just wanted a second opinion on this, I always worry about cancer even though dr. said doesn't look at all like that. Do I need to cut area open to see further with biopsy what it is, or does what other dr. told me sound logical.
