I have an ongoing (1 yr) pimple like breakout on
Sent to Health Experts January 14 09:01 AM

I have an ongoing (1 yr) pimple like breakout on my chin, been treated for empatigo, twice. I was exposed to someone with staph infection. Sometimes I think it could be ringworm because it gets that circle efect after the head is broken and starts to enlarge. It starts deep in the skin like a pebble then surfaces to a head. I could have two to three at a time one my chin. At the moment I have three older ones and 4 that are at the surface and two that are just starting deep in the skin. Just recently servale have broke out below my nose and on my nose. If it spreads and I get a magnafy mirror I can see lots of little white heads within one area if scab is removed. It will scab over for a very long time and if you remove scab it is like taking a top learer of skin off. Some people think I might have shingles but doctors say no.

If you were diagnosed with a staph infection then this would indicate that you had tested positive for a staph infection at one point or another. MRSA is only one form of antibiotic resistant staph bacteria, and there are many others that would respond to stronger antibiotic treatment. It is impossible to diagnose the bacterium that is causing your infection over the internet but I can suggest that your symptoms are very characteristic of a type of staph infection and that more aggressive antibiotic treatment is in order. Is there something else you would like to clarify about your question?
