Shingles, or herpes zoster are a result of a long hidden bacteria in your body that has now come out to cause a miserable disorder. Many people had chicken pox as children and then never a problem again until they developed shingles late in life. A Chiropractor cannot in any way cause you to have an outbreak of shingles. It is, again, caused by something you have had in your body for a long time.

I understand what you said about Shingles. My concern is whether or not a Chiropractic "manipulation" of the spine MAY activate the "dormant" chicken pox virus, which is along the spine.
