My stomach has been hurting for about 2 days now I feel much better each day. Day one I vomitted a couple of times and felt more nauseous the more I moved around but the second day I woke up and noticed that my belly button was bright red it went away later that day. It didn''t seem irritated. I have never seen this before but thought maybe I messed with it in my sleep but if this is a symptom of some disease that needs to be treated I would like to know. Just stomach pains on day three but all three days have struggled to produce solid bowel movement. Took some laxitives and seems to be better but should I be very concerned if I continue to get better. May have also had fever because felt cold at times.

Greetings.

This seems to be what we term as intestinal flu or viral gastroenteritis. This is a self limiting disorder as it resolves on its own in 3-4 days. If your severity of the abdominal pain is gradually decreasing, and your are getting continually better, you should not be concerned. Your belly button color change without any irritation or pain is of no consequence and is not symptom of any disease. Probably any pressure either by clothing or button might have caused that. Drinking plenty of liquids and taking fibers will further assist to overcome the problem

Hope this helps you. Your follow up questions are welcome.

Hello,

I haven't read it. What is in it? Has it helped you? Or something related with your symptoms?

Reply to Dr. Arun Phophalia's Post: It seems to have helped me I haven't been sick in a long time. the book tells of how to keep from contracting disease by keeping your blood pH at a certain level. And viruses don't survive in oxygen rich environment because they are anaerobic. People who have many cancers have very low pH almost 70% I think it said and basically cancer cells remain dormant at 7.0-7.3 pH. Just curious has many examples throughout the book.
