I've been having different things happening to me. I started last year having migraines 3 times a week. I went to my doctor and she prescribed amnitriptylene. The same medication was prescribed to me for acid reflux.   I don't have migraines as frequent now, but I do still deal with acid reflux.
Every time I talk to my doctor she never gives me feed back. I recently had an appointment because I have been in pain with my arms. I'm in so much pain lifting a glass of water and I put my neck out at least twice a month. She tested me for RA and the test came out negative.   I have a hard time hearing people when they're talking when there is background noise. I get light headed every now and then. I have a hard time some days focussing and get frustrated when I feel like this because my words come out jumbled when I talk. I get fatigued and do not sleep well at night. Mainly due to the pains in my body. I know this is a jumbled bunch of information. I just don't know how else to explain it all. Sometimes I think my doctor thinks I'm a hyperchondriac. I'm not! I just don't like to complain about these things because they don't happen all the time.
What do you think?
Sincerely,
Joline Belanger

I suggest several different avenues that you could go down. First of all, I believe that you need a complete series of blood work done...also, liver function tests, thyroid tests, etc. Much information can be obtained from your blood. Also, have you had your blood sugar checked? Have you recently completed a round of antibiotics or are you currently taking antibiotics? Some of them have adverse affects which include hearing loss. You also may want to look up Lupus...it's an insidious disease that is a master of disguise.

My last suggestion is that you find another doctor with which you are more comfortable with and one who will answer your questions. It is crucial to your good health that you have an excellent patient/doctor relationship.
