Question

itchy pricky feeling on my back when I begin to sweat or perspire

Sent to Health Experts June 14, 2004 9:41 a.m.

When I begin to sweat or perspire, my back becomes like a like a pricky itchy feeling. It is like someone sticking several small neededs in your back. I have tried all those cortizone creams and they just seem to stop the itch for a little while. I have also tried aloe vera gels and lotions. It also tends to stop the itch for a while but it reoccurs when I begin to sweat again. I have tried several oatmeal baths and it is not working. Can you please give me some advise on what is going on with me.

I have changed the soap that I use to use.
I have changed the detergents that I normally use.
I use an oatmeal soap when I bathe.
I tried using Aveeno soap and it does not work.
I have used cortizone, aloe vera, benadryl, calmine lotions as well as other anti-itch medicine.

What is funny about this problem is when I cool down or my body cool down the itch goes away. I really appreciate your advise and I hope I can find this cure soon.
