My brother is an alcoholic. He drinks, literally, all day--only taking catnaps for sleep and eating very little, but eating, every day. He is 43 and pre-cirhotic, I believe. Two weeks ago he developed a tremor is his right leg. His leg shakes constantly and endlessly, regardless of how much he drinks. The rest of his body seems to be shaking too, but it is the shaking of the leg that really stands out. He is in agony and tells me I have no idea how much pain he's in. He had a blood test done that indicated nothing. The hospital gave him aspirin and sent him home. He has no health coverage. But I need to know, and he lives with me, what's wrong with him?
