39 Y/o, white male, w/ serious (drenching) night sweats 5 to 7 nights a week. Had extensive blood work to check, Organ function, H.I.V., ect. All test show me to be in perfect health. Have had the night sweating problem for last 7 years. This is really becoming a problem for me. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Randy

You have been checked for diabetes, hyperthyroidism, anemia, hyypothalamic lesions, epilepsy, migraine, spinal cord infarction, familial dysautomia (congenital disturbance in specific nerves causing the problem), obstructive sleep apnea, and secretions from certain cells in the brain (pheochromocytoma). Is this correct? If all of these are negative, it is sometimes possible to surgically remove the sweat glands if the condition is causing severe interference with everyday activities. See www.endoscopic-surgery.com/hyperhid.htm .
