I am taking 1 30MG of Restoril at night for sleep. I also take 30 MG of Prozac during the day. I was told by a friend that these 2 drugs are bad for me together.

Hello

Restoril is only effective for a few weeks and is meant for short term use only. After a few weeks, you need higher doses to achieve the same effect. Trouble is, you are on the highest dose already.

Taking them together isn't probably going to hurt you, especially if you take one in the morning and one at bedtime.

I would ask the doctor though about another form of sleep aide.
