I have had a condition where my fingers and hands have been cracking and splitting open ever since last October. Been to Drs. 6 times, including 2 specialists, used some 15 different hand creams/moisturizers, some perscription some not. A steroid shot almost cleared up the condition, until it wore off. Tried aloe plant, very mild clorox solution, salt water, epsom saltz, etc. Lanabiotic cream on a split with band aid over night helps some to heal over a split, but then another pops up. Sleep with creams on hands with cotton gloves. If you have any suggestions, please forward them. I am willing to try just about anything.
