My mother has an artifical aortic valve placed 5 years ago. Last week she had exreme pain hip and was given anti-inflammatory and pain medication. All of a sudden this week she has developed insomnia and a rapid heart beat as she is forcing herself to go back to sleep. She hasnt had a good night sleep in 3 days. What could it be?
