Question

Atrial Fibrillation What to do?

Sent to Health Experts September 15, 2006 11:58 p.m.

.My friend has an atrial fibrillation, for which he was hospitalized for three days in January., at which time , his doctor restarted his heart to bring the rate down to 46 from 149.
Upon his discharge he was given coumadin(?) and metoprolol. 50mg a day.
This was ok for the while. He became very tired and was always sleeping.
Come June of this year he had another rapid heart beat and was back at the hospital for one day. They took the blood thinner away and kept him on the met. To make a long story short, he is still on the Met twice a day @25mg each.It is still causing him sleep problems to the point of RIidiculous.
Question:   What is the natural way of taking care of this problem without this drug thing.?
