I am a 38 year old female with normal blood tests except for elevated MCV (99) and elevated MCH (34.8). I recently have been experiencing inflammation and pain in my finger joints and so I had another blood test with consistent elevated MCV and MCH levels. These two areas have been consistently elevated for a year now and I want to find out why. I take vitamins regularly and am not overweight. I have had sleeping problems and suspect sleep apnea although I have not been formerly diagnosed. What other avenues can I explore to find out what is causing the elevated MCV & MCH levels?
