Do you have any other symptoms? How long has this been going on? Did you do anything to injure yourself, or your neck (like lift something, sleep strange, etc.)? Are you healthy otherwise?

Let me know, and I'll get back to you.

Dr. Fay

DR. Fay...symptoms started about 4 weeks ago...not getting any worse, but increasinly bothersome since I thought it would work itself out. It's possible I could have caused this by overexerting my self @ work, but I am not sure. Last fall I had to get a cortisone shot/chiropractic care for "tennis elbow" on the same arm. My arm doesn't ache..it just tingles when I get it in certain angles/positions..no sense of loss of strength ..again I feel a spot on my right clavicle under which I sense this problem is connected..pinched nerve?
noticible numbness in right "pinky" finger..other fingers OK...only right arm affected

Do you mean your clavicle (collar bone) or your scapula (shoulder blade)? Is the pain in the front of your chest or in your upper back? Did the tennis elbow resolve completely? What do you do for work that might have been connected?

sorry ...underneath right shoulder blade. Cortisone was totally effective...results lasted up until about the same time the arm tingling surfaced...sounds like arm tingling and return of elbow discomfort are related...and coincidental.

worh exertion involved twisting a heavy power cable over my head while my arms were fully extended...sort of an unnatural position...the more I think about it the more I feel this has had something to do with my problem
