My husband has shortness of breath and the need to deep breathe but most often is not successful. He has had a cat scan, nuclear stress test, endoscopy, ultrasound and pulmonary series and nothing has been found to be causing his breathing issue. His breathing problem started almost 2 wks ago. Is there a medication he can take to bring him some relief? What would his next step be to figure out what his problem may be? He is a smoker but does not smoke even a pack a day. He had quit for 6 mths this last time and just started back smoking a couple of cigarettes a day.

Hello,

I want to get some more detail information about his problem-

How long it is there? How often does he feel that?

How does he get relief of that?

How many puffs of ventorlin he used to take?

Does he have any other disease?

Does he currently take any medicine?

Waiting for your reply.

Thank you.

it varies. has urge to take deep breath about every 30 minutes or so. Eventually, his deep breath attempts works but he has to keep trying. No other health issues. Pretty healthy. No medicines.
