I have symptoms of a normal allergy. I have a tickling in my throat and sinus drainage. I sneeze occasionally. My sinuses are also swollen. I even gag on the drainage and it causes a lot of coughing. I went to an ENT. He took xrays of my sinuses and they had no accumulation of matter in them. He ran a camera down my throat and said everything looked perfectly normal. No signs of cancer at all. He gave me a shot and a prescription for an antihistamine and a vile tasting nasal spray. The spray works but, I can't put up with the taste. I have been smoking for about 40 years. He said it seemed to be the smoking and allergies. Is there anything else that I need to have checked?
Thank you for your time.
