can an std be acquired from contact with dry vaginal fluid?
Sent to Health Experts October 09 09:54 PM

I wore a pair of jeans, that I later realized were dirty from someone elses prior use, and the jeans had dried vaginal fluid on the crotch, which I am sure was not mine. I was wearing underware, but of a shear material. Now I am concerned that I could have been exposed to an STD from wearing the dirty pants. Is this possible?

Your chances of getting an STD this way are slim to none. The most common STDs are bacterial and do not live long at all outside of the body. Maybe a few minutes. I believe that you will be fine. Just make sure to "look" next time. If this answer helps please hit the accept button. Thank you.
