Life shelf of Bacteria and STD on dry sex tool

Sent to Health Experts October 13, 2006 8:40 p.m.

The sex tool I ordered was new and in the box- how long can bacteria live on a plastic device like this- as far as an STD is concerned- even if it had been used and returned- I thought that STD could only survive in fluids during sexual activity- am I wrong?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Once it's dried, the bacteria is gone. However if it hasn't been washed at all and is used again, you could give yourself a regular bacteria or fungal infection. But as far as STD, once dried, you are fine.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don't forget to click the *ACCEPT* button and leave *POSITIVE* feedback.
