Greetings.
All the tissues heal by fibrosis. The fibrotic tissue does not have the same elasticity which the normal tissues have. It has been observed that rain, clouds, weather extremes, temperature changes etc, cause tissue and fiber changes in length and size. All the normal tissues tolerate these changes but fibrotic tissue, because of loss or inadequacy of expansible properties, start hurting. The clouds and rain can cause tissue edema also in these healed tissues. This edema is because of the osmotic pressure gradient discrepancy in normal and fibrotic tissue. This further may be responsible for the pain.
Usually this pain is maximal in initial 3-5 years and gradually wanes off. In exceptional circumstances, it may persist for long.
Anti-inflammatory Analgesics reduces this edema. A physical therapy program with gradually increasing weights may help in long term.
