Question

why would your skull sink after surgery.

Sent to Health Experts July 20, 2005 10:18 p.m.

My father had surgery on his brain in November of last year. Now where he had surgery the skull is starting to sink is this normal.

Possibly, It depends on the amount, and rate, of sinkage and how they covered/repaired the hole(s) in his skull. Do you know how they did this? Also, his diagnosis and the name of the surgical procedure(s) would be helpful.

Has he (or have you) asked his surgeon this? If so, what was the response? If not, why?

Also, please be aware that you will need to make a Deposit of $5 in order to read any answers which are submitted to your question.

NOTE: Making this one-time Deposit does not obligate you to pay for an answer -- unless you consider it to be helpful.

It doesn't make much sense for me, or some other Specialist, to provide an answer for you -- if you won't end up being able to read it.

With that in mind, do you have the ability to make a $5 Deposit in order to read answers -- and, if so, do you intend to pay if a helpful answer is submitted to your question?

Thanks in advance.

Steve
