I had surgery on my knee about 4 months ago. I had a checkup last week and everything was good. The surgery was for osteochondritis desicans. It is where blood flow is reduced and basically causes a bone to die. At the tip of my left tibia, a piece of bone chipped off. The doctor reattached it and drilled holes to increase blood flow. Now my knee is popping or cracking (not sure which is which) every time I take a step. It is really loud too. Could this be a problem? I dont want to go to the doctor and have him say "Its nothing." and waste money. Thanks for your help.
