(Not a Health Question?)

is there any link between lead poisioning and pancreous

Sent to Health Experts November 12 05:48 PM

My granddaughter has been admitted to the hospital with severe pain in stomach, throwing up (green)- This is the 4th time she has been to the emergency room, but only time they have found anything. Pancreous is inflammed per hospital. they won't let her have anything - even ice chips - they do not want the pancerous to work. also have scheduled Monday for surgery _ even though they aren't sure yet of anything. Waiting for results from ultrasound ( Cat scan has been done) think it might be gallstones.... so, Ido not know if the gallbladder is being removed or if it is more exploratory. Her daughter (9 months) has tested positive for lead poisioning. Rating 12        ------------- could there be any link between the two?
Thank you so much.......... I wait for your answer as I am headed back to the hospital soon.

According to statistics, 65% of the time pancreatitis is caused by gallstones. It is also caused due to drinking. I very much doubt that lead poisioning could have contributed.
