I was just diagnosed with a teratoma tumor around ovary, family Doctor said it is very large and needs to come out within a week or two.My question is is surgery needed? I must admit I am in pain with this mostly in my back, Doctor said it is pressing against my back causing pain.Also if surgery is needed how long is recovery time? It is benign but how long could I have had this, years?Thanks for reply in advance.
