hip replacement surgery hardware

Testimony about a second hip replacement surgery. Need some help with spelling and correct words. First: the doctor's answer reads, "the acetabulum was fixed into the pelvis, the femur in a PRIMARY ORAL REVISION?
Wasn't sure I heard him correctly regarding primary oral revision. Any suggestions?

Next, the hardware used for hip replacements. Depew (sp)Series 1200 shell, five Kancella screws. Need correct spelling for Depew and Kancella.

Going strictly on my somewhat dated experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with medical terminology I would guess -- from the context -- that your phrase should read:

"the acetabulum was fixed into the pelvis, the femur in a primary femoral revision"

I don't have a clue regarding the spelling part of your question.

I am not familiar with the etiquette/limitations of legal/medical transcription. Is it possible/proper for you to contact the physician's office (through the court, if necessary, to avoid any appearance of impropriety) to ask for clarification?
