I had surgery on my rt foot 2 years ago. My big toe had a bone shaved. I have pins and screws inserted. Shortley after surgery a month or so, i noticed that my right thigh would get a tingling feeling when I stood to long in the same position or if I walk some distance I can feel the tingling coming on almost like when your leg goes to sleep. I just have to sit for a second and it goes away only to start up agin when i stand to long. I went to the Dr who did the surgery he said maybe it was in my hip like brusitis. I asked a few months later he said i don't know what it is.... Could my gait be off when I walk. I had P.T. they noticed I turn my rt foot in when I walk did not help much. I think it is nerves being pinched I never had this until my surgery.

Dear Christal,

WHile it is tough to be 100 % accurate without doing a physical examination, I would agree with your concern about a pinched nerve.
The cause of this pinched nerve could be a local condition like burisitis, OR sometimes even a lower spine abnormality like a compressed disc/ herniation etc.

What you require is a detailed neurological examination by a neurologist to ascertain the cause of your problem.

Please remember to accept the reply if you find it useful. A BONUS and a positive rating would be duly appreciated,
