i have endometriosis i had surgery about months ago

I have endometriosis. I had surgery about 8 months ago. Right after surgery I had 6 months of Zoladex shots. Now I am on continous birth control. Lately I have been having some pretty strong cramps. What could be the problem? Is this normal?
