I had carple surgery and they said the tendon was stuck to the nerve and they had to micro surgery to repair the coating on the nerve. Now my two middle fingers are numb (just on the inside of the fingers). One doctor said it was scare tissue causing it but it's been that way since the operation. I have been messaging the scare I don't know if it will help becasue it's been several months since it was done. If they nicked the nerve will it ever repair itself? They said I could have another operation to remove some scare tissue but it would just come back, now someone said if you have it done and message it right away it won't form. I'm not sure what to do because if they damaged a nerve it would be a nonscencical to open it back up.

Optional Information:

You are right, if the nerve was damaged, there is no help in that.. I have personally never heard of the messaging part. You said one doctor? That means you got another opinion? If so, 2 options out of 3 may be what's needed in this case? Also, how about an MRI? It may give some answers as well..

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!

Reply to Lindie's Post: I wanted you to address the question about another operation to remove the scare tissue is this a option? I have heard of nerves growing back as much as a year later this was not addressed ( how are the regeneration properties of this nerve in the hand, does this possiblity exsist?)
