I have had surgery to remove both sides of my thyroid gland. Since that time I have battled with my thyroid levels staying at the right level. I now have heart problems and excessive weight gain and have soreness & pain all over my body. I feel like I'm bruised all over, and when I sit for a little bit I can't hardly get my legs to move. I have heard of thyroid supplements helping with thyroid function. Can these be taken with synthroid and will they help a person that has no thyroid? I am at my wits end. I feel like I'm slowly dieing and don't know what to do about it. Thanks,Willena Benson - age 57
