adrenal gland - l tumor with flank pain and htn

ct scan showed 4cm left adrenal mass, not cyst or benign adenoma. mri showed 3.5cm most likely benign adenoma. I have experienced much l quad pain and newly dx c htn et rx after 2 1/2 yrs of severe h/h with no reief after meds becoming progressively more severe the past 6 months. seeing a urologist/surgeon tomorrow and have researched criteria for removal. tumor is in adrenal gland. my mother had the same condition r sided last yr. what is your opinion?
