I've just spent some time looking in journals but cannot find any reference to use of nerve blocks for ongoing treatment. The nearest piece of information was that the effectiveness of a nerve block for pain relief ranged from hours to weeks, but all the main work has been done on use in surgical applications.

You may want to relist and request an expert with some experience in this field.
