Will Spina Bifida Occulta show up on an amneo. test , and an ultra sound everytime ? Also a tethered cord ? as my sons didn't !

will Spina Bifida Occulta, and a tethered Cord, show up on an amneo test, or an ultra sound. As I had both when pregnant, and these diseases never showed in etheir test, and my son had surgery at the age of 6. Is this normal for Spina Bifida Occulta not to show on these test ?
