I had orthoscopic knee surgery 3 weeks ago. The swelling had decreased and I was walking again. Yesterday I notice a lump on the upper outside of my leg. My physical therepist says its just swelling, but i have never had swelling there before. I have had multiple knee injuries on this knee and have never seen that area swollen. I also have increasing pain in the outside of my knee and can no longer walk again. My physical therepist says not to worry, but I think that there is something more serious going on. Should I call my doctor anyways? Or is it most likely exactly that, just unusual swelling?

You know your body better than one Hun.. If you have doubts, which you do, I would at least call your doctor that did the surgery. He may ask you to come in, or say if it doesn't go away by such and such date to see him. I'm to a disadvantage since I can't see it. But I would go with your own instinct and at least call the doctors office with your concerns.

Best of luck Hun. Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!
