My daughter is three years old. She recently had surgery for a bakers cyst on her left knee. She had this approximately one year, then her knee wouldn't straighten in the
mornings and her leg was swollen and she couldn't stand. Dr Lindaman in Des Moines performed surgery to remove the cyst and drain the fluid. Now 4 wks later her knee is swollen and her joint at the knee won't straighten in the morning. After a hot bath an a couple hours it works again. I believe we are being referred to Mayo clinic to see an arthritis specialist. Although all fluids and cyst were tested and not positive for arthritis. Any ideas what this could be???
